Three residential houses gutted in separate fire incidents in Kashmir

Three residential houses were gutted on in separate fireincidents in Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.

Two houses were gutted in Nowhatta area of Downtown Srinagarwhile one house caught fire in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulladistrict, said an official.

   

Reports said that fire originated from a residential houseof Manzoor Ahmed Bhat in Ranghamam area of Nowhatta and soon spread to thehouse of Saleem Chaloo.

However, timely intervention of Fire and Emergency Servicesand the locals brought the fire under control.

Locals said that fire caused heavy damages to both theresidential houses.

In Tangmarg, a residential house shared by two brothers,Farooq Ahmad Malik and Abdul Hamid Malik, were razed to the ground in anocturnal fire incident in Kampora village.
