Three school children injured in rabid dog attack in Kangan

Three school children were injured after a rabid dog attacked them at a State-run school in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.

The injured students were identified as Shabir Ahmad Lone (14), Sheikh Suhail Ahmad (8) and Masrat Jaan (7) – all students of Government high school Akhal Kangan.

   

An eye witness said a rabid dog entered the school premises and attacked the children when they were busy playing their afternoon game.

All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were treated for injuries.
