Three youths are feared dead while two others were rescued after a boat capsized in Jhelum river in Dewan Bagh area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
A police official said that a boat carrying five persons capsized in the Jhelum after it lost balance near Dewan Bagh area.
He said two boys were rescued by the locals while three others drowned.
Those rescued were identified as Junaid and Azaan while three others – identified as Anzar Wani, Tufail Ahmad Shah and Shahid Ahmad Shah are still missing.
He said that rescue teams of police are trying to locate the drowned youth.
