Various separatist and other organisations on Sunday paid rich tributes late Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq and Khawja Abdul Gani Lone on their martyrdom anniversaries.
Chairman of Democratic Political Movement, advocate Muhammad ShafiReshi, in a statement said both leaders during their struggle for the dignity and honour of the people upheld values which remain as an asset.
Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Party Syed SaleemGilani also paid rich tributes to MirwaizMaulana Muhammad Farooq, Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone and victims of Hawal massacre on their death anniversaries.
In a statement Gilani said, “remembering these martyrs rejuvenates our pro-freedom spirit and strengthens our relation with martyrs.”
Senior Hurriyat leader and vice chairman of Peoples League Muhammad YaseenAtaiee also paid tributes to Molvi Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone.
Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) also paid tributes to the two leaders.
Meanwhile, former president of High Court Bar Association and AAC leader advocate Nazir Ahmad Ronga also paid tributes to Molvi Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone. “the best tribute to them is to walk on their path.”
