Two Haryana residents die in motorcycle accident in central Kashmir’s Kangan

Two Haryana residents died in a road accident in Rayil Gund area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday morning.

An official said that a motorcycle (HR22L-5351) travelling from Ladakh to Srinagar collided with a truck  (JK0AG/5369) coming from opposite direction, resulting in on-spot death of the biker and injuries to his pillion rider.

   

Soon after the accident, locals and police reached at the spot and rushed the injured to Sub district hospital Kangan where he was declared dead on arrival.

The deceased have been identified as Bharat Bhushan (27) son of Ashok Kumar and  Gurlal Singh (28) son of Kewal Singh — both residents of Haryana.

Police have registered a case in this regard and further investigations have been taken up, said the official.
