Two injured after armies of India, Pakistan trade fire along LoC in north Kashmir’s Kupwara

Two civilians were injured after the armies of India and Pakistan traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) last night in Karnah area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. 

An official said that two civilians sustained minor injuries after the two armies exchanged fire along the LoC late last night.

   

The injured, identified as Jahangir Ahmad and Zameer Ahmad – were shifted to a hospital for treatment.

“During heavy cross-border shelling, some pieces of rocks hit the duo,” said SHO Karnah Nasir Ahmad.
