Two soldiers injured in cross LoC shelling

Two army soldiers were injured in cross LoC shelling in Jammu’s Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said.

They said, “Pakistan violated ceasefire in Keri sector near Line of Control this evening by firing mortar shells. The firing was retaliated by the security personnel deployed there. Two army soldiers sustained injuries during the shelling.” 

Cross-LoC shelling in Gurez

Meanwhile, Army on Sunday said that Pakistan violated ceasefire along Line of Control in Gurez sector of Bandipora district.

An army official said, “Pakistani troops resorted to shelling in Bagtore area this morning. The troops retaliated immediately. The exchange of firing lasted for some hours. However, there were no reports of injury to anyone or damage to property.”
