“During my recent meetings with Governor and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, I was assured that steps will be taken to upgrade all Sufi shrines of Awaliyas existing in all villages, blocks, district and mohalas of cities and towns. I hope that it will help in reviving our golden image of our civilization from Kashmir to Kashgar. I hope that Kashmir Tourism department will be geared up to start Sufi pilgrimage and declare Shahar e khas as Sufi Heritage spiritual city. This will help to revive the collapsed tourism sector in the Valley and showcase our spiritual places to world community for enriching the collapsed economy of Kashmir as well,” he added.
