Congress delegation met Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan here on Friday, a party spokesperson said in a statement.
He said delegation discussed law and order situation in the state with the Governor.
He said delegation emphasized upon the Governor that government must utilize all its resources to safeguard Article 35 A. The delegation was headed by party state president G.A. Mir, Peerzada Muhammad Syed, MLC vice presidents Gulam Nabi Monga, Muhammad Anwar Bhat, MLA Muhammad Amin Bhat, Raman Matoo, spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, general secretary Surinder Singh Channi.
He said delegation also urged the Governor to take stock of security situation in the state. The issue of regularization of Anganwadi workers, helpers and teachers was also taken with the Governor, he added.
