A cloudburst triggered flash floods in Karnah area of frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said the cloudburst which occurred in Qazi Behak area caused flash flood in Tangdhar Nalla, triggering panic among the locals.
A police official told Greater Kashmir that there was no immediate report of any loss to the life or property. He said a police team has been deputed to the area.
However, reports said that the floods damaged various residential houses and shops and vehicles in main market.
They said that standing crops have also been damaged while some livestock has also perished in the flooding.
