A two-and-a-half-minute video which has gone viral on social media shows Kashmiri passengers running for their lives while advising others to take cover as rocks were flung at them by the a mob of students of Science College Jammu.

Kashmiri passengers including women staying at the Auqaf building in Jammu due to closure of Srinagar-Jammu highway had to run for their lives after the students of a nearby college hurled rocks at them on Sunday, viral footage showed.

A Kashmiri youth who was trying to toss back the stone was stopped by his fellows, convincing him to drop the stone.

In the video, a Kashmiri woman holding a baby in her lap could be seen collapsing due to chaos.

Amid the commotion, some Kashmiris could be seen shouting slogans like ‘God (Allah) is great) while others could he heard asking them to calm down as the police had arrived.

Thousands of Kashmiris including women, children and students, are stranded in Jammu due to closure of Srinagar-Jammu highway from past six days.
