Will restore dignity, honour, rights of J&K people: Er Rasheed

Awami Itihad Party supremo and former MLA Langate Er Rashid on  Sunday said that if Kupwara people vote for him in the upcoming parliamentary election he would restore dignity, honour and rights of people in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a gathering here at Chinar Park in Handwrara hesaid, “On the name of Gujjar and Pahari people are getting bifurcated here. NCbifurcates on urban and rural, PDP on north and south but Kashmir is one. Weshould not give it any communal agenda or sectarian angle, people should voteon merit, this election is an exam of willpower and commitment of Kashmiri’s aswhat they want,” Rashid said. 

   

He said that being as MLA of Langate constituency for almostten years everyone knows my stand, “My ten years in the state assembly are likean open book and people should make a difference in this election by voting toa right party who will fight for their basic rights,” he said.

AIP supremo said that the basic two parties Kashmir who cameinto alliance with BJP should not forget that they are the crime partners ofBJP in Kashmir, “exploiting and crying will not work now, don’t play with thesentiment of Kashmiris and leave this old traditional dirty politics,” he said.

Rashid lashed out on the successive governments during hisaddress said that people of Kupwara are only used as a vote bank and that isthe reason we are being ignored in every developmental move.

He said that if Ladakh can be separate division then why notHandwara can be a separate district. “Both NC and PDP ignored Kupwara in theirsuccessive regimes in wake of the development, if I will win this election Iassure you change in the developmental process,” he said.
