In a significant decision, Governer N N Vohra-led state administration has enhanced working hours in government offices in the State. An order to this effect was issued by the General Administration Department on Tuesday.
The office timings in the Civil Secretariat and offices observing five-day week will be from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. The office timings in offices across the state observing six-day week will be from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. This, however, should not be applicable to educational institutions. GKNN
