To pay homage to Constable Farooq Ahmad who was killed at Bijbehara area on Friday, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines, Anantnag.
“Senior police officers including IGP Kashmir, DIG SKR, SSPAnantnag and other officers from CRPF laid floral wreaths on the mortal remainsand paid rich tributes to him for the supreme sacrifice made in the line ofduty,” a police statement said.
Farooq’s family is survived by old aged father, brother,wife, 12-year-old son Mohsin Farooq, seven-year-old son Faisal Farooq and2-year-old son Zaid Farooq, it said.
