DGP for conducting exam in transparent manner

Director General of Police, Dr S P Vaid today chaired a high level meeting regarding the written examination for the post of constables in J&K police, which is being held on October 8 (Sunday).

The DGP directed all district SSsP/SsP to provide all assistance to the chairman as well as board members for conducting the examination across the state smoothly, a police handout said.

The DGP impressed upon the members and the district SsP to conduct the examination in most transparent manner.

The chairman of the TRP Surinder Kumar Gupta briefed the DGP about the preparations of the written test.

Timing of the examination is 11 am, duration is 2 hours and the paper will contain 100 multiple questions with 100 marks. There will be no negative marking. 

Reporting time for the candidates is 8 am in their respective centres, the Chairman stated. 

All the candidates have been directed that they should carry their admit cards along with valid ID proof, blue/black ball pen only.

No electronic gadget including mobile, calculator, smart watch, digital watch, Bluetooth, ear speakers etc. are being allowed in the examination centre.

The candidates can download their admit cards from www.jkpolice.gov.in.
