Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik on Tuesday led a protest in Downtown Srinagar called by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the killing of a youth in forces’ firing in Pulwama yesterday.
Scores of JRL supporters and activists assembled outside Jamia Masjid Nowhatta soon after Zuhar (noon) prayers to protest the killing of Fayaz Ahmad Wani of Chewa-Kalan.
Wani was killed on Monday when government forces fired live ammunition into protesters during a massive search operation in several villages of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
