Yasin Malik visits injured students at SMHS hospital, says Kashmiris unsafe even in classrooms

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Yasin Malik on Thursday said that Kashmiris were not even safe in their classrooms.

He said this while expressing solidarity with the students who were injured in a blast in their classroom in southern Pulwama district.

A JKLF spokesman said that Malik along with several other leaders of the amalgam visited SMHS hospital and met with the injured students.

“Yasin sahib met with these victims, talked to their attendants and doctors on duty and enquired about the health status of these injured people,” a statement said.

“…this mysterious blast reminds us of the fact that Kashmiris are not safe anywhere and even not in their classrooms, schools and colleges,” the statement quoted Malik as having said.

“He (Malik) said that our lives are unsafe everywhere and on daily basis we are being forced to shoulder coffins of our dear ones, carry injured to hospitals and bear tyranny and oppression unleashed by the oppressors,” added the statement.

Twenty-six students were injured in a mysterious blast in their classroom at a tuition centre in Narbal village of the district yesterday.
