A youth critically injured in forces’ action in Srigufwara area of Anantnag on Friday succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Sunday.
Reports said that Shahid Nazir Hajam of Sirhama village suffered bullet injury in his head after forces used live ammunition to chase away protesters near the site of the gunfight in Khiram-Nowshera on Friday.
Hajam was shifted to SKIMS Soura in critical condition where he breathed his last today.
Four militants, a civilian and a policeman were killed in the gunfight.
