The eight-day youth festival ‘Sonzal’ – 2018 organised by division of Youth Affairs, department of students welfare, University of Kashmir (KU) concluded here on Thursday.
An award distribution ceremony/valedictory function was held at KU’s Ibn-e-Khalidoun auditorium during which the winners, participants and judges of the festival were awarded with prizes.
Vice-Chancellor KU Prof Talat Ahmad was the chief guest at the valedictory function, while the registrar and DCDC KU Prof Neelofar Khan was the guest of honour.
On the occasion the VC thanked the chairman J&K Bank and the Greater Kashmir management for sponsoring the festival.
