24 COVID19 patients cured in Ladakh

Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh today said 24 COVID19 patients have been cured in Ladakh.

In its bulletin, the Directorate said that  till date 43 cases were reported positive for COVID-19 in Ladakh. “Out of these, 24 cases got cured, and the mortality rate due to COVID-19 stands zero. All the remaining 19 active cases of Leh district are in stable health condition,” it said.

   

It said the Health Department Leh received 73 sample reports yesterday and all the reports are negative. Out of these, 64 sample reports are of Leh district and 9 sample reports are of Kargil. “Today, 321 samples were sent to NCDC New Delhi for testing out of which 234 samples are of Leh and 87 samples are of Kargil district,” it said.

The bulletin further said that 330 passengers crossed Khaltsi check post yesterday and reached Leh in 13 buses and other light motor vehicles. The screening of passengers continued till 3.30 AM today.

It said 24 inmates from quarantine centre Kargil have been discharged after completing 14 days quarantine and advised them for further home surveillance.
