All India Radio Kargil observed “international mother language day” on Thursday. On the occasion LobzangNamgyalprogramme head AIR Kargil said that their station is language specific station, which has contributed a lot in reviving the dying language of Purig and in this mission regional news unit Kargil has contributed a lot by improving the language used during Purgi news. Others who were present on the occasion included DDO Shahid Anwar Khan, copy editor Muhammad Abdullah, Anayat Ali, Muhammad Yousuf, ZankirHussain and Noor Muhammad.
