Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Leh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal today chaired an important meeting to take stock of the physical and financial status of the SSA (Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan ) scheme being implemented in Leh district by LAHDC Leh School Education department.
Meeting was attended by Tashi Dolma JD Education Leh, Konchok Angmo CEO, Leh, Tsering Angdus AD Planning Education department Leh and all ZEOs of Leh district.
Chairman after taking stock of the physical and financial status of the SSA zone wise, issued specific instructions to all the ZEOs for timely expenditure of funds and achieving targeted physical achievements well within targeted period.
Besides, laying stress on the importance of education, the chairman directed JD Education and CEO for preparation of LAHDC education policy, guidelines for coordination with VECs and holding in annual Ladakh Education Conference and early launching of education department website.
