Divisional Commissioner Ladakh, Saugat Biswas today chaired a meeting in Leh with the Deputy Commissioners of Leh and Kargil and took a detailed review on the election preparedness in both the districts.
Divisional CommissionerBiswas discussed various issues regarding the provision of Assured MinimumFacilities at the Polling Stations and also assessed the availability of basicfacilities at all the Polling Stations in Leh and Kargil districts for smoothconduct of elections.
Biswas directed the Deputy Commissioners to put in place allsuch basic facilities like drinking water, toilet, ramp and electricity at eachpolling station well in advance to facilitate smooth conduct of elections. TheDiv Com further urged to push up the SVEEP activities in both the district formobilization of maximum voters.
