Kargil district of Ladakh union territory (UT) on Wednesday became COVID19 free with no active case of the disease.
A senior health official from Ladakh said the only remainingCOVID19 case has recovered and was discharged from hospital after testingnegative.
The official said reports in case of 90 samples werereceived and all of them tested negative.
He said the total active cases of COVID19 in Ladakh were nowtwo and both were in Leh district.
The official said all the pilgrims who returned home sincelast two days have been kept in quarantine as a precautionary measure.
