PSAJK team visits Leh, interacts with school heads

A team led by Chairman Health and Hygiene Council of Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), Rahi Riyaz Ahmed visited Leh and held detailed discussion with the management bodies of different Private Schools in the district.

The team suggested the local schools managements toconstitute their District Body in accordance with the Articles of PSAJK. Rahisaid that this will help the district schools to have a joint platform to projecttheir problems and highlight their achievements before the Leh DevelopmentCouncil and the State Government. “This will enable the schools to solve theirproblems and remove bottlenecks coming in the way of smooth functioning ofPrivate Schools,” said Rahi.

   

The team also discussed various initiatives andcollaborations which can be undertaken between the two sides for mutualbenefit. The school management described the working of schools in the districtand the schools that have benefited from international collaboration and byadopting new teaching methodology.The team suggested the local school managementbodies to make a liaison with PSAJK headed by G N Var so that the problems andthe achievements can be shared with each other. “With hundreds of schools fromKashmir, Jammu, Pir Panchal and Chenab region, the addition of schools fromLadakh region into the platform will further strengthen the voice of privateschools,” said Rahi. “In this way we can work efficiently to solve our problemsand also provide quality education to every nook and corner of the state.”
