25-year-old man injured in north Kashmir blaze succumbs at SMHS

A 25-year-old youth has succumbed to serious burn injuries, he sustained in a fire incident, that broke out in Sultankadi area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday afternoon. 

As per news agency GNS, five persons, including three members of a family, had suffered injuries after a blaze broke out in a hay-stock.

   

The injured persons comprise Sajid Ahmad, Abdul Rasheed, Roshi Begum, Wahid Ahmad and Mafad Ahmad. 

Sajid, who had received grievous burn injuries in the incident succumbed to injuries at SMHS Srinagar this afternoon. 

Confirming the fatality, an official said that Sajid had received major bodily injuries in the accident, resulting in his death at SMHS, Srinagar.

Abdul Rashid his wife Roshi Begum and son Wahid Ahmad are under treatment at the hospital, the official added.
