824 fresh cases take J&K COVID-19 tally to 73014

Jammu and Kashmir reported 824 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total count to 73014, officials said on Monday.

This is for the first time in more than three weeks that less than a thousand cases have been reported in a day in J&K.

   

Quoting sources, news agency GNS reported that 540 cases were confirmed in Jammu and 284 in Kashmir.

Giving district wise-details, the report said that Srinagar reported 105 cases, Budgam 27, Baramulla 26, Pulwama 33, Anantnag 18, Bandipora 9, Kupwara 44, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 1, Shopian 8, Jammu 337, Rajouri 52, Udhampur 38, Kathua 37, Doda 11, Samba 29, Poonch 10, Ramban 1, Reasi 14 and Kishtwar 11.

1408 more COVID-19 patients recovered and have been discharged from various hospitals, 831 from Jammu and 577 from Kashmir, sources said.
