BJP activist shot at in Budgam, hospitalized

Suspected militants on Sunday fired upon a BJP activist in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Official sources told news agency GNS that the militants fired upon a BJP activist, identified as Ab. Hamid Najar (38) son of Jamal Najar resident of Moheindpora.

   

They said the militants fired upon him near railway station when he was out on a morning walk, leaving him injured.

He has recieved bullet injuries in abdomen and has been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment, the official said.
