BJP Jammu office closed day after Ravinder Raina tests COVID-19 postive

The office of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu was closed on Wednesday, a day after the party’s J&K president, Ravinder Raina, tested positive for COVID-19.

Also, former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta, his family, districts presidents and other leaders have been sampled for Covid-19, said a party source.

   

He said they have limited their activities after their party president was tested positive.

The entrance to the official residence of Ravinder Raina has also been blocked with barbed wires as a preventive measure, said a source.

Raina was shifted to an isolation ward of a hospital in Katra after his reported returned positive for the coronavirus on Tuesday.
