The administration on Thursday ordered closure of all markets except shops dealing with the essential services in Ganderbal district for next three days in view of Coronavirus threat.
“Markets/ business establishments of the district shall remain closed for next three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) except medical /Milk / Veg shops. Public & Pvt transport shall also remain suspended except medical emergencies. All govt offices/ banks to remain functional,” said the deputy commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal in a tweet.
Pertinently, Ganderbal has been declared as Red zone in the recent classification of the districts.
