A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Hokarsar area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Tuesday.
According to the news agency–GNS– a joint team of police, army’s 02RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area and as the forces zeroed in on the spot, the militants fired upon them, triggering a gunfight.
