Gunfire was reported during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in a village of Kalakote in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
“Forces launched an operation over some input during which firing took place,” said an official source, adding that senior army and police officials have rushed to the spot.
The village where firing has been reported is Panjah Mehari near Kalakote town of Rajouri.
