The Gurez-Bandipora road was closed again on Saturday after fresh snowfall.
According to the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) officials stationed in Bandipora, the road was again closed for traffic due to snowfall which was going on till the last reports came.
In Gurez’s Dawar Tehsil at least six inches of overnight snowfall was recorded, said an official, adding that two snow cats have been deployed for Dawar and adjoining areas.
The snow depth at Razdan pass was double than Gurez whole snow was still accumulating, the official said.
The 86-Kilometre road was opened recently for one way traffic after hectic efforts by the BRO.
