J&K reports 704 Covid-19 cases, tally crosses 34K mark

Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday reported 704 new covid-19 cases, including 96 travelers, taking the total tally to 34480 in J&K.

Among the cases, 195 were from Jammu division and 509 from Kashmir Valley, official sources told news agency GNS.

   

Giving district-wise breakup of the cases, they said Srinagar reported 198, Baramulla 16, Pulwama 55, Budgam 64, Anantnag 47, Kulgam 9, Shopian 9, Kupwara 49, Bandipora 22, Ganderbal 40, Jammu 98, Rajouri 17, Kathua 27, Udhampur 15, Ramban 3, Samba 12, Doda 7, Poonch 7 and Kishtwar 9.

Meanwhile, 599 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—126 from Jammu division and 473 from Kashmir.
