A 45-year-old man was injured after being shot at by unknowngunmen in Chandhara area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district onMonday.
Quoting reports, news agency GNS said that some unknowngunmen barged inside the house of Mohd Rafiq Rather (45) and fired upon him.
In the incident, Rather sustained serious bullet wounds inhis neck and was taken to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to SMHSSrinagar for specialized treatment.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said thatpolice has taken cognizance of the incident.
Soon after the incident, security forces rushed to the siteand started searches in the area.
