Security forces on Tuesday busted a militant hideout in Khenatar village area of Poonch and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch, Ramesh Angral said a joint search operation was launched by the police, army and BSF in Khanetar on Tuesday morning following specific inputs.
“A militant hideout was busted during search operation,” he said, adding that a cache of weapons including two Chinese pistols, five pistol magazines, fifty pistol rounds, five AK magazines, 270 AK bullets, 02 Wireless sets, 04 Chinese Grenades, one Binocular and one bag, were recovered.
