A man hailing from a village in Pakistan-administered-Kashmir was held by the police near the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote area of Mendhar sub-division of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said today.
They said that the locals spotted the man roaming in the area and informed the police authorities who intercepted him.
“A team from Balakote border police post rushed to the spot and detained the said person,” said an official.
A police official said the man hails from Nakyal village of PaK. “We are investigating the issue,” he said.
