Unknown gunmen on Monday morning shot at and injured the personal security officer (PSO) of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Natipora area of Srinagar, summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
A senior Police officer told news agency GNS that militants fired upon the PSO of PDP leader Haji Parvaiz Ahmad in Natipora, leaving him injured.
He has been identified as constable Manzoor Ahmad and was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
