Security forces on Wednesday conducted a cordon and search opeartion in Turkawangam village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said that forces ring fenced Turkawangam village of the district and carried out a search opeartion.
“The operation was launched after the forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area,” said the official.
The operation was underway at the time of filing of this report.
