A truck parked near the Jawahar Tunnel on Jammu-Srinagar Highway in Qazigund area went up in flames on Saturday, reports said.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reporter that a truck bearing registration number (JK13B-2215) was parked on the roadside at Jawahar Tunnel when it suddenly caught fire.
The vehicular movement along the highway was temporarily suspended after the incident took place, they said.
The truck driver identified as Ajaz Ahmad Lone escaped unhurt, said an official.
