Two persons are feared dead after they slipped into a well in Chalgund village of Hatmat Pora Hyhama in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Thursday.
Official sources told news agency GNS that two persons, Ghulam Nabi Khan (35) and Ghulam Mohi-udin Ganai (50), slipped into the well in Ganie Mohalla.
Teams from the police and the SDRF have launched a rescue operation with the help of locals.
Station House Officer of the concerned police station said that efforts are underway to retrieve them.
