Two soldiers injured in accidental mine blast in J&K’s Poonch

Two soldiers were injured after they accidentally stepped on an anti-personnel landmine while patrolling near the Line Of Control in Mankote sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

Official sources told news agency GNS that at around 1500 hours, two soldiers of 10JAK rifle—-Luvpreet Singh and Rifleman Vikramjeet—- were wounded in the blast.

   

They were shifted to Udhampur by helicopter.

While Luvpreet suffered wounds in the right ankle, Vikramjeet has splinter injuries.
