A 26-year-old youth from Srinagar died and another was injured after a car they were travelling in met with an accident on Jammu-Pathankot highway in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening.
Official sources told news agency GNS that a car (JKO1AJ-0180 ) collided with a truck (JKO2AG-3625), resulting in on spot death of Mohammad Huzaif Khan (26) son of Fayaz Ahmad Khan of Saraibala Amira Kadal Srinagar and injuries to another person identified as Abid Amin son of Mohammad Amin of Qamarwari Srinagar.
They said that Abid has suffered grievous head injury in the accident. He was shifted to District Hospital Kathua for treatment.
