Omar hits out at PDP spokesman

Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 14: Former J&K Chief Minister and National Conference Working President Omar Abdullah Wednesday hit out the Peoples Democratic Party’s chief spokesperson NaeemAkthar for his remarks that “people were fed up with the Omar Abdullah led Government.”
Omar, took to twitter to slam Akhter, wrote: “Looking at the way the @jkpdp spokesman is hitting out at me you’d be forgiven for thinking that I’ve snatched his favourite toy.”
Omar’s tweet was in an apparent reference to Akhter’s statement yesterday that people participated in large numbers in the elections “as they were fed up with the Omar Abdullah-led government.”
Omar also found interesting a report in a Mumbai-based newspaper that termed his politics as  “teen-patti politics in Kashmir.”
“Interesting analysis.  NC offer to support PDP: Wily Omar plays political teen patti in Kashmir via @firstpostin …” Omar tweeted.
The report has said that Omar’s plan is simple: “He wants to force the PDP to take a quick decision. And he wants to build pressure on Mufti by arguing that his party is betraying people of Jammu and Kashmir by not forming the government in spite of a huge turnout.”
The report said Omar “seems to be playing a game of teen-patti in Srinagar with Mufti Sayeed and Amit Shah. He is behaving like an impatient gambler.”
