'Srinagar-Chadoora transport service would be improved'

Jammu, Jan 8: Various deputations from Khundroo Islamabad, Chadoora and Budgam called on the Minister for Transport, grievances, stationary and printing Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen and apprised him about various problems confronting the people of different areas.
 The deputation from Khundroo led by Imtiyaz Ahmad demanded release of third installment of the relief to the Khundroo blast affected families. He also sought redressal of the complaints made by the affected families about the distribution of relief.
 Hakeem Yaseen assured that the matter with regard to the malpractices in relief distribution would be taken at appropriate level for redressal besides the third instalment of relief to the affected families would be released as early as possible keeping in view the cold days.
 The Minister also assured that the demands putforth by the Chadoora and Budgam deputationists would be met out on priority. He said that the Srinagar-Chadoora transport services would be improved to facilitate the people especially employees and student community. He directed the DDC Budgam for taking right steps to ensure the timely supply of foodgrains, sugar, K.Oil and LPG to the consumers of the district Budgam during the current chilly days. He asked the district administration Budgam for formulating a contingency plan for clearing the roads in the district in case of snowfall, so that the people do not face problems and traffic ply’s normal and smoothly.
