Ladakh MP seeks medical college for Leh

Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Member of Parliament from Ladakh, on Wednesday demanded a medical college for Leh, during a debate in Parliament.

Namgyal sought attention of the Government of India topromises made by it to sanction a medical college for. He said land measuring200 kanal has been earmarked for establishment of the college in Leh already,but owing to lack of funds the proposal didn’t see any progress so far.

   

“I strongly request the government to sanction a medicalcollege for Leh and fulfill the announcement made by Prime Minister himself,”Namgyal said.
