    External evaluation for lower class students, damp squib

    The government asked private schools to adopt syllabus prescribed by JK Board of School Education (BOSE) so as to have common curriculum in all schools and similar pattern of exams as well. But the private schools refused to abide by the orders, citing that syllabus prescribed by BOSE was “below standard”
