In addition to hard work

Across the wide spectrum of all the competitive exams hardwork, that too in a smart way, is the ultimate prerequisite. The J&KCombined Competitive Examination commonly known as KAS, of the year 2016 is allset to append a slew of factors to it. And the way things have developed in theaftermath of the result of the mains exam (4 December 2018) a vast variety ofprowess is on display on part of the aspirants to make it to the cut. The trendhas set a precedent. Slowly and steadily, a handful of aspirants who, if failto qualify a competitive exam, by every means try to give a pseudo direction tothe whole process.

Irony 1

First you need to be a theatrically effective orator. Younever know when you will need to employ your rhetorics in the court of lawbefore the magistrate or in a public space jammed with people. To make a dentor make away a dent in the reality, a vociferous crowd is inevitable. Thatclamor ought to be voiced skillfully into that single rhetoric to fashion ahotchpotch in an otherwise outstanding order. A revolutionary type persona isrequired to build for pulling the crowd and jamming the spaces of the streetsand corridors of the cafes. Courage is required to use rhetoric of intimidationby invoking the option of violence.

Irony 2

There is need for developing the qualities of a social mediamandarin on part of an aspirant. To be able to produce adroit facebook postsand be able to let things get viral. A pedantic façade is needed to unleash aSocratic type dialogue to contrive a balance between the failure and thesuccess. These ironies among many others are and have been at play during thiswhole unfortunate fiasco. The result of an examination is a form of truth. Tobe able to make it dubious, carp an argument, just say the complete formula ofevaluation was not right and in case of successful candidates some defaultspurious variable has worked stealthily. Accepting the truth makes things move.By making it dubious everything will get halted. Those who have made it willget desperate and those who have not will get disoriented. So, no harm intalking Socratically but stay contented like Sophists that truth isunattainable.

Moreover to decide about the ultimate truthfulness ofanything, have faith, court is the touchstone. And the magic of this touchstonedoesn’t come so cheaply. In a time when there is unprecedented growth ofmillionaires and billionaires, psychologically people are used to think in alarge currency denomination units. So is the case with people who make thistouchstone to work. These people ask their fees in the same big units like onelakh two lakhs etc. And these lakhs get easily managed from a crowd where thecompetition commenced from nearly forty thousand candidates. Thanks to internetthe pooling of this money is so easy and the transfer to the desired coffers isalways a single message away. So be a rich hard worker.

These factors are additional essentials to not let anyonedemean your right. In solidarity with all the thirty seven thousand aspirantsof KAS-2016 who went through an unprecedented ordeal and in compassion with 963mains qualifiers, myself being one , who have mastered many skills all the way.We were amateurs and simpleton. We believed only in hard work and didn’trespect other factors in the beginning. When, due to certain aberrations 429candidates were added which subsequently paved way for twenty three hundred oddmore people, though it was not a travesty of justice, but we, the originalqualifiers, had to remain silent because we were too busy with the nitty-grittyof hard work necessary to make it to the cut. But, all that silence on our partset a wrong precedent somehow that there is a post result to an actual result. And the result is always amenable and accommodative. Hence, some peopleessentially made that as an edifice for their groundless demands which, as aresult have made things quite tedious and to a large extent poignant now for963 mains qualifiers. All we request (a hand folded request in fact) to all thestake holders to kindly put an end to the sufferings of the qualified onessooner than later.
