An 18 year old girl, Mir Seeneen, from Srinagar has beenselected as a delegate for the twin international conferences scheduled inOctober and November month in Thailand and Indonesia.
Seeneen, an undergraduate student of Cluster UniversitySrinagar has been selected among 5893 applicants as one of Global Goals ModelUnited Nations lll (GGMUN) delegates for the international conference to beconducted in Thailand in October.
“I have been also selected among 9745 applicants as oneof Asia World Model United Nations III (AWMUN) delegates for the internationalconference to be held in Indonesia in November,” she said.
She said her motive for being part of these internationalconferences is to encounter the world with the brutal realities of Kashmir.
“I want to make people across the globe familiar with the Human Rights Violations taking placein our Valley,” Seeneen said.
The University and the educational institutions are supposedto bear the educational expenses of the students participating in such events.
