Two-day National workshop on “Innovative Teaching Strategies in Nursing Education” was held at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST).
The event was organized by Syed Mantaqi Memorial College of Nursing and Medical Technology (SMMCN&MT), Awantipora – a constituent College IUST.
The inaugural session of the workshop was chaired by vice chancellor (VC) IUST Prof. Mushtaq A. Siddiqi. Among others who attended the inaugural session include renowned cardiologist of the valley Dr. Khursheed Aslam who was the Guest of honour at the occasion.
The faculty and students of IUST and nursing college were awarded with trophies and certificates during the inaugural session.
The first annual day 2018 “Souvenir” was also released by the Vice Chancellor in presence of the participants.
At the concluding ceremony an interactive session was held participants from different nursing colleges.
During the valedictory session mementos and certificates were distributed among speakers, participants and organizers of event.
